I have always used Siser Easyweed HTV. How does the thermo flex compare? Will the white show through on a black shirt? Also need glitter HTV. Again, I’ve only used Siser. The glitter-flex does not have a plastic feel does it?
Hi Leslie, I can say this–I used to be a part owner and CEO of one of the biggest Siser distributors in the world. I will never go back after using ThermoFlex. I have also never had a customer that switched that did not say the same thing. ThermoFlex is VERY soft and has a matte finish and feels like it’s part of the material. It does not have any gloss or glare to it. As far as black showing through on white HTV, that should never be a problem on any white HTV. I have seen some bleeding of the dye come through on white HTV which is usually caused by cheap garments with a low-energy cheap dye that gets activated. ThermoFlex Turbo encourages less dye migration because it’s pressed at 270 for only 5 seconds. GlitterFlex Ultra has actual polyester glitter on the surface so it’s slightly textured, not plastic feeling. Hope that helps. –Troy
